A calmer way to keep weather visible
Many weather apps compete for attention with panels, charts, alerts, and widgets. LiveAtlas takes a softer approach: the wallpaper itself can reflect real cloud systems while optional weather context remains secondary.
This makes the desktop useful for people who want to stay aware of the atmosphere without keeping a forecast screen open all day.
Satellite clouds are weather context
Cloud maps can show information that a number alone cannot: storm organization, frontal boundaries, clear areas, cloud bands, and regional weather movement. For a Mac wallpaper, that visual context is often more pleasant than a dense dashboard.
Location and privacy
When location permission is enabled, LiveAtlas can use location to select relevant weather context and regional imagery. Privacy-sensitive details are described in the LiveAtlas privacy policy, including trial status data and feedback handling.
