Feedback

When sending feedback, please describe what happened, what you expected, and which LiveAtlas feature you were using.

  • Your macOS version
  • Your LiveAtlas app version
  • The selected satellite region
  • Whether weather overlay or location access was enabled
  • Any error message or screenshot that helps explain the issue

If you attach logs, please review them first and remove anything you do not want to share.

Common Issues

  • Wallpaper does not update: check your internet connection, refresh interval, and whether the selected satellite source currently has new imagery available.
  • Weather overlay is missing: make sure network access is available and location permission is enabled, or manually choose a region if you prefer not to use location access.
  • Satellite image looks delayed: public satellite sources update at different intervals, often every 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes.
  • Multiple displays look different: verify the display settings inside LiveAtlas and confirm whether each monitor is using the same or a different satellite region.
  • High-resolution imagery takes time: larger images may require more download time depending on network quality and source availability.
